Weymouth-Bernard M. Wojciechowski, age 92, entered into eternal life on May 6, 2017. Bernie was born  and raised in Claremont, N.H. , moved to South Boston when he was ten  and has lived in Weymouth since 1952, He was a  WW II Navy  veteran and served in the   liberation of the Western Pacific theatre.  He was the youngest member  of the Navy to be promoted to  First Class Petty officer during the war. He graduated from Massasoit Community  College  Mr  Wojciechowski  was a MDC police offer for 25 years and was treasurer of the MDC police union, the first  in the state of Mass.   He enjoyed trips to his hometown of Claremont,  N.H., collecting old coins, using a Geiger counter and fishing trips with his children. He was devoted to  the Blessed mother Mary and to his  family. Bernie was happly married for 72 years to the late Marie( Basler) Wojciechowski  who passed away  three weeks ago. Devoted father of Mark Wojciechowski . Julie Lewton and her husband Kevin  and Susan Desilets and the late Bernard D. Wojciechowski.  Father-in law to Ann Curtin. Loving grandfather to Jason  Wojciechowski, Corey Curtin and Kacie Curtin. Great-grandfather to   Noah Curtin. Beloved brother of  the late Evelyn  Blonda and Walter  Rayvot. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid  Funeral Home, 100 Washington st. Weymouth on Thursday  May 11 at 9 am. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from  4-7 pm. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
