Braintree- Ethel  E. (Crossman) Spano ,age 94 , entered into eternal life on March 9, 2017. Ethel was a lifelong Braintree resident.  Mrs. Spano  was a volunteer at  the pre-school program at the Thayer Library in Braintree and was a member  and treasurer  of the V.F.W. Auxilliary Post 1702. Beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Spano.

Devoted mother of   Joseph  and his wife Mary of Brattleboro , Vermont,  James and his wife Ann of Brockton, Robert and his wife Barbara of Marshfield and Paul and his wife Karen of Plymouth. Beloved sister of Margie Toenges  of Martha’s Vineyard, the late Ruth Belcher, and  the  late Robert Adams. She is also survived by many grand and great-grandchildren. Her family was the most important thing to her and over the years she brought great joy and special memories to them all.

Funeral  Service  will be at  the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth Landing  on Monday, March 13 at  11 am.   Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Visiting hours on Sunday  from 2-4 and  6-8 PM. Burial in  Blue Hill  Cemetery, Braintree.
