John A. Spano   

Weymouth-John A. Spano, on February 6, 2017.  John was raised in Quincy and  lived in Weymouth for many years.  Mr. Spano was a WW II and Korean War Marine veteran.  John was a Weymouth firefighter and also worked for the Howard Johnsons-Marriott and the Scituate Country Club. He sang with the Belles and Beaux and with the Immaculate  Conception Church Choir.   Beloved wife of Ruth L. (Cornelious) (Egersheim) Spano and the late Lorraine  T. (Curran) Spano. Devoted father of Thomas of Braintree, Linda Hooker of Virginia   Steven of Holbrook,    Susan Plouff, June Strouthers and Teresa Smith, all of Texas, and the late John Jr. and Maryann Brown.  Stepfather of Donna Noseworthy and June Papa, both of Quincy. Brother to 6 siblings and grandfather to many.   Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Saturday February 11 from 1 until 4 Pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery, Weymouth on Monday, Feb 13 at 1 pm. For directions, clancylucid.com
