Alan C. Stark of Hanover passed away on September 25 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Al had an uncanny ability to find happiness in everyday activities and was well known for giving the best hugs. Al grew up in Quincy and has lived in Hanover for 45 years. Mr. Stark served in the U.S. Army. He founded and owned Starbro Electric Company in Weymouth with his brothers. Beloved husband of Janice M. (Daly). Devoted father of James and his wife Michelle of Canton and Cindy Dunderdale and her husband Scott of Hanover. Proud papa to Katherine, Michael, Jules, Daniel and Ben. Al is also survived by his brother John “Jack” Stark and his wife Barbara of Marshfield. He was also the loving brother of the late Robert, Kenneth and James Stark. Brother –in-law of Charlene and James Kennedy, Charles and Marilyn Daly, Kim and Douglas Haskell, and Brian and Nancy Daly. Beloved uncle “ Allie Ballie” to many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Service at South Congregation Church 1075 Washington St. Braintree on Thursday September 30 at 10:30 Am. Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6 until 8 Pm. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery. My heart cries for everyone. Alan was so helpful and kind by phone when Gordon was declining. We both loved him so much. So many wonderful memories. My love to Janice and all the family.
