Alice E.Hall
Braintree – Alice Ethelyn (Stewart) Hall, 79 entered into eternal life on May 19, 2018. Alice was born and raised in Roxbury and lived in Braintree since 1964. She was an active member of the Dudley St Baptist Church growing up. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and loved spoiling her family. She enjoyed cookouts, camping, doing crafts, collecting Boyds Bears and playing Yahtzee. She had a passion for the Girl Scouts and was involved for many years. From being a troop leader to the chair person for the Braintree troops and even ran the Girl Scout store in their Canton office. She filled her house with hundreds of cases of cookies each year as the area pick up center and looked forward to the annual cookie kickoff in Boston.
Beloved wife of Robert J. Hall Sr. Devoted mother of Deborah Cooney of Abington, Edith Bullard of Brockton, Karen Ruhl and her husband Keith of Sharon, Susan Buckley and her husband Mark of Weymouth, Elizabeth Cabral and her husband Gregory of Hallowell, Maine, Robert Jr. and his wife Mecca of Caribou, Maine and the late Alice Campbell. Beloved sister of Drusilla Stewart of Swansea, and the late Joyce Appolo, Leroy, Robert, and Allan Stewart. Loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral service at the Union Congregational Church of Weymouth and Braintree 74 Commercial Street Braintree on Friday May 25 at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
