Bonnie l.Mehrman, 65, entered eternal life on May 6, 2026, after a brave two-year
battle with cancer. Born on December 29, 1960, Bonnie was a lifelong resident of Weymouth. She was
predeceased by her parents, Norman and Judith McCulloch, and her brother, Scott
McCulloch.
Bonnie shared 50 years — including 44 years of marriage — with her best friend and
soulmate, Brian P. Mehrman. Together, Bonnie and Brian built a home filled with love,
laughter, and endless food, where everyone felt welcomed and cherished.
She was the devoted mother of Rebecca Cunniffe and her husband James of Jamaica
Plain; Kurt Mehrman and his wife Melissa of Marshfield; and Emma Napolitano and her
husband Michael of Weymouth. She was also loving “Grammy” to Myla, Jack, Nicholas,
Joey, Caroline, Mariah, Bodhi, and Ainsley, who were the pride and joy of her life. She
was also a cherished aunt, cousin, and friend whose warmth and kindness will be
deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. After dedicating many years to raising her children, Bonnie went on to work for Staples
Inc. for 17 years as an executive assistant. Most recently, she served as an
administrator for South Shore Elder Services. Bonnie was also a longtime parishioner of
Sacred Heart Church. She loved cooking for family and friends, holidays, flowers, music
and spending time at York Beach.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visiting hours on Monday, May 11th, from
5:00 to 8:00 PM at Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington Street, Weymouth. Afuneral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of
Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church. Visitation prior to the service at the funeral home
at 9:30AM. Burial will follow at Village Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made in Bonnie’s memory to Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute via dana-farber.org/gift. The family would like to extend their heartfelt
gratitude to Bonnie’s entire care team at Dana-Farber Weymouth Cancer Center for the
compassion, care, and support they provided to Bonnie and her family throughout her
journey
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire McCulloch and Mehrman families during this most difficult time.
So many memories of growing up.
Just learned of this sad news. I remember Bonnie as a bright young girl from the old neighborhood. She was such a nice kid, always seemed happy. The Mehrmans were great friends of my family. Many great times with them over the years. My deepest condolences to Brian and the whole family. I’ll remember Bonnie fondly
