Brittney Laurine (Goss) Sette, died suddenly on July 18, 2023. Brittney grew up in Weymouth and has lived in Brockton for 2 years. Brittney was a nanny and daycare worker who recently began helping special needs children. Prior to that, she worked at The Fours Restaurant in Quincy. Most recently, Brittney was pursuing her goal of becoming a hairdresser at Toni and Guy Beauty School in Braintree. Beloved wife of Joseph C. Sette. Devoted mother of Joseph C. Sette Jr. and Jaxson P. Sette. Beloved daughter of Kelly White and her husband Shawn of Weymouth and Patrick Lydon and his wife Danielle of Rockland. Granddaughter of Denise Sheridan and her partner Ronald Stull of Weymouth, Joseph Sheridan and his wife Carol LaCombe of Weymouth, Patrick Lydon of Brockton and Nancy Lydon of Quincy. Beloved sister of Alicia Stull of Whitman, Patrick Zadrozny and his partner Olivia Mattson of Whitman and Andrew Lydon of Quincy. Also survived by her aunt, Stacy Gillis, uncle, Joseph Sheridan Jr., her cousin Kayley LaCombe and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth on Sunday, July 23 from 2 until 6 PM. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, East Weymouth on Monday, July 24 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial to follow in Saint Mary Cemetery in Randolph.
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Brittney. Brittney was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all her family but especially her two boys who meant the world to her.
