Claire M. (Johnson) Conlon, of Braintree, entered into eternal life on June 23, 2021, at the age of 83. Claire was born and raised in Dorchester and has lived in Braintree for 61 years. Dear daughter of the late Victor and Catherine (Beades) Johnson.  Mrs. Conlon worked for The New England Telephone Company for many years where she met her devoted husband, the late John (Jack) P. Conlon, she then worked at Sprague Industries in Weymouth, Claire retired from Sacred Heart School in Weymouth as a teacher’s aide for the preschool. Claire was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church of Weymouth and Braintree. Her smile would light up a room. She loved to spend time in her chalet in Freedom, New Hampshire.  Claire’s greatest joy was spending time with her family, relatives, and friends. Loving mother of Patricia Phillips of Braintree, Kathleen Hubbard and her husband Daniel of Braintree, John Conlon and his wife Deborah of Windham, New Hampshire, Robert Conlon of Braintree  and the late Diane Conlon. Cherished grandmother to Christopher Phillips, Daniel Hubbard Jr. and his wife Elisabeth, John Hubbard and his girlfriend Caitlyn Berger, Patrick Hubbard, MaryClaire Hubbard, Sarah Conlon, Jack Conlon and great grandmother of Daniel Hubbard III. Beloved sister of Marilyn Ricciardelli and her husband Edward of Saugus. Sister-in-law of Joseph Conlon of Falmouth and his late wife Ellen.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Friday July 2 at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church Weymouth at 10:30 am relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Thursday July 1 from 4 pm until 8 pm.  Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or online at www.stjude.org.

    I worked with Claire at Sprague so many years ago and she truly was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I’ve missed her since then.
    My condolences to her family.
