Dennis M. Pietruszewski – January 13, 2024

Dennis M. Pietruszewski, 59, entered into eternal life suddenly on January 13, 2024. Dennis was a lifelong Weymouth native, and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.  Dennis proudly worked as a paramedic in the Greater Boston Area and South Shore for many years. He was a dedicated parishioner of the Sacred Heart Church and member of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks.

Beloved husband of Cheryl M. (Edson) Pietruszewski of 28 years. Devoted father of Joseph J. and his significant other Virginia Lugo, Olivia G. Pietruszewski of Weymouth, and “bonus daughter” Michelle Moscone of Weymouth.  Beloved brother of Kenneth J. Peters of Weymouth, Michelle Morris and her husband James of Weymouth, and Melanie Rose of Martha’s Vineyard. Son of the late Mary F. Lambiase and Joseph J. Pietruszewski. Beloved uncle to Michael, David, Jack, Eli, Vincent, Violet, Melody, Lauryn, Amber, Jimi, Elijah, Aura, Amiyah, Stella, Lilly and Dennis. Also survived by several aunts and cousins, along with his loving, faithful companion Bruin.

Funeral on Friday, January 19 at 9:30 am from from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 3:30-8:30PM. Burial in Village Cemetery Weymouth. If desired,  donations can be made in Dennis’s name to: The Northeast Animal Shelter 347 Highland Ave. Salem, MA 01970.

    Dennis, you were definitely a great and caring person! You’ve touched so many lives in a great way. I was lucky to have you as my preceptor back in the days. Glad we kept in touch after I left the company. Rest In Peace.
