Doris Mary (Reed) Smith, 90, passed away peacefully into eternal life on December 5, 2024, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
Doris grew up in Dorchester, MA and lived there for many years.
Doris was born in Boston on December 17, 1933, to Clyde W. Reed and Bertha E. Martin.
Doris was a kindhearted woman, loved by all her family and friends. She will be remembered as always playing Bingo, enjoying her time with family, and always having a smile that lit up when she saw you.
Doris is survived by her beloved sons, Robert Smith, Johnny Smith, Louie Smith and Dennis Smith, her sister Laura Bradley, daughters-in-law and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, along with other family members and friends.
Doris is together again with her children in heaven, Joseph, Michael, Maryellen, and Edward Smith, and her siblings Clyde Reed, Gloria Peterson, Jean Bell, Annmarie Troy, Alan Reed and Thomas Reed.
Visiting hours will be at the Clancy Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington Street, Weymouth, on Saturday, December 14 from 3 -6 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Cremation and burial will be private.
I will miss you Doris ,thank you for all you have done for Hope and I.love you always and will keep you in my prayers. I know you are with the lord and children in heaven.

Doris was a beautiful person who always put Loved ones before herself. She will be forever missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace my dear sister-in-law.❤️
