Dorothy A. “Dottie” (Boc) Crifo, age 90 of Quincy, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Dottie was born and raised in Dorchester, lived in Quincy, Hingham and Mashpee. Dottie worked for the Quincy Public Schools in the cafeterias for many years, following retirement she enjoyed her time working for Roche Brothers.
Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Joseph J. Crifo. Devoted mother of Donna Mauney of North Carolina, the late Valerie Colbert and Joseph J. Crifo, Jr. Loving sister of Kenneth Boc and his wife Florence of Wareham. Cherished grandmother of Alison and her husband Joe, Matthew, Daniel and his life partner Jessica, Rachael and Michael. Adoring “Baci” of Valerie, Cameron, Lucas and Sophie. Dearest mother-in-law of Cary Crehan, Susan Crifo and the late Kenneth Mauney. Caring aunt of Suzanne Yazzi and great-aunt of Daphne Yazzi. Dottie is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Inurnment will be private in Massachusetts National Cemetery.
