Dorothy M. (Wyman) Gavin, entered into eternal life on November 26, 2024. Dottie grew up in Quincy Point and has lived in Braintree her adult life. Mrs. Gavin did a lot of charity work, including Camp Sunshine in Maine, the Diabetes Foundation, special needs swimming. Dottie was a parishioner, CCD teacher and Eucharistic minister at the Sacred Heart Church. She was a participant in the Quincy Senior Citizen Olympics and won many medals. Most importantly was her family. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Francis T. Gavin. Devoted mother of Glenn and his wife Linda of Barnstable, Janice Genatossio and her husband Bob of Norton, Richard of Braintree, Stephen of Hanover, Robert and his wife Jessica of Ireland and California, the late David and the late Dorrie Connolly. Sister of the late Eleanor Reavey, and the late Jack Wyman. Loving Nana to 20 grandchildren and Nana Banana to 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish at the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM.
