Georgie P. Fainer ~ 12/31/2003 to 7/11/2026

Posted on Jul 28, 2026

Only the good die young! Georgie grew wings and his soul has left this world. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, grandson, nephew, and friend whose life though far too short, was filled with laughter, friendships, and memories that will be forever treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Connections with Georgie were built through a lifetime of good times along with some bad and also, sad memories. Everything he endured in his life made him the man he became. Strong and loyal, he always genuinely wanted the people around him to be happy, that will forever be a memory for us all. Georgie forged several friendships over the years. These friendships were so important to him and meant everything to him. Those friends became more like brothers. Those bonds meant a great deal to him. When he loved, he loved deeply, whether blood family or people who grew into another form of his family. He had a way of leaving an impression on those who knew and loved him. His absence leaves a space that will never truly be filled.

Let’s not forget his “Preshy”, his one and only daughter. He adored her. Although 22 years could never be enough, the love he gave and the person he was will last a lifetime. All of his friends and family will carry his memory forward in the stories they tell, the laughter they remember, the music they hear and play, the places they fish, play pool, and share good times.

Let’s honor our loved one and remember his heart and his spirit will always be with us.

There will be a graveside service at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury on Wednesday, July 29 at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers are allowed at the cemetery. Shiva will be held in the Temple B’Nai Shalom, 41 Storrs Avenue, Braintree on Thursday, July 30 from 6-8 pm.

I am so very sorry for your loss. George was a wonderful young man and I enjoyed speaking with him about life and Precious, who was his pride and joy. May his young soul rest and peace.
