Glenn L. Lorenzen age 76, entered into eternal life on January 27, 2024. Glenn grew up in Malden, lived in Quincy before moving to Weymouth 25 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lorenzen was an automobile mechanic, a reliable, yet humble man for anyone who was in need of a service. His faith life began in Immaculate Conception Church in Malden, Sacred heart Church in North Quincy, St Francis Xavier Church in South Weymouth and at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth. He belonged to the American Legion Post 86 in Braintree.  He  was a religious education teacher at Sacred Heart Church and he went on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  Glenn equated these experiences as a rebirth. He was a 50-year season ticket holder for the New England Patriots. He loved his country, his faith and most of all his family. Loving father of Chelsey Lorenzen and her husband Maxwell Santos of Weymouth, Amber Wilson of Middleboro, and Christian Lorenzen and his wife Melissa of Chattanooga, Tennessee.  He leaves behind his devoted companion Jane. Brother of Donna Gallo and her husband Fred of Shrewsbury and Janice McIver and her husband Kent of Randolph. Loving Papa to Caprice and Marchesa, the lights of his life. He leaves behind many beloved members of the church and his neighborhood. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St., Weymouth Landing on Tuesday, February 6 at 10:30 AM.  If desired, donations may be made in his memory to: St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 326, Chamberlain, SD 57326, a charity to help the Lakota Indians.
