Joan M .(Musumeci) Foley, entered into eternal life on April 12, 2026. Joan grew up in Methuen and has lived in Weymouth for many years. Joan graduated from Boston College and received a Masters degree from Boston University. She taught for many years and finished her career as a guidance counselor. Mrs. Foley was a parishioner of both the Sacred Heart Church and Immaculate Conception Churches in Weymouth. Joan was especially devoted to Our Blessed Mother and belonged to the Third order of Mary and taught the catholic faith to many children through the C.C.D. program. Finding her creative skills later in life ,Joan undertook to build a road, clearing the woods and building an post and beam A frame retreat atop a mountain in New Hampshire where she spent many years enjoying and relaxing off the grid.
