John S. Mastrangelo, age 94, entered into eternal life on November 28, 2024. John was born in Italy, grew up in Roxbury and has lived in Braintree for many years. Mr. Mastrangelo was a Korean War Army veteran. Mr. Mastrangelo was a self-employed electrician and also worked for the town of Braintree and Hull as a wiring inspector. He belonged to the American Legion Post 86 in Braintree. Devoted and beloved husband to Gloria G. (Mechini). Devoted father to James and his wife Mary of Hanover, David and his wife Suzanne of Weymouth, Maryjean Cannata and her husband Martin of Sandwich, Marisa Coppola and her husband Christopher of Weymouth, and Lisa Smith and her husband Joseph of Braintree. Loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Saturday December 7 at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church 92 Washington St. Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
