John W. Larkin Jr. Weymouth- John W. Larkin, Jr. age 73, entered into eternal life on May 25,2021. John was born and raised in Dorchester and has lived in Weymouth since 1975. Mr. Larkin was a superintendent for the M.B.T.A. Red Line railroad. John belonged to the South Shore Baseball Club and was a friend of Bill. Beloved husband of the late Janice R. (Foster). Devoted father of John W. Larkin III and his partner Seth Winiarski of Dorchester, Brian M. Larkin of Boston and the late Jennifer M. Larkin. Fiance of Rose Ray of Radway, Alberta. Loving grandfather to Nicholas, Kristen and Caiden. He is survived by many friends, including Rose St. Pierre and her husband Paul of Bellingham and Audrey Manderville of Hull. Memorial visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Saturday, June 5 from 3 until 7 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
I coached with Jack in Weymouth Babe Ruth Little League and he coached 3 of my 4 sons. Jack was a great guy and a little bit of light has gone out of the world. My best wishes to “Bubba” and the rest of Jack’s family. Peace.
