Whitman- Kathleen A. “Kellie”(McNeil) Coughlin, age 56, entered into eternal life on November 28, 2021.   Kathleen grew up in Weymouth and has lived in Whitman for several years.  She worked in sales in  various retail stores and was a certified nursing  assistant as well. Beloved wife of John M. Coughlin.  Devoted mother of Sean  and Bryan Coughlin, both of Whitman. Beloved  sister of Christine Purkis of Otisfield, Maine, and  Laura Wiessmeyer and her husband Edward of Weymouth.  Aunt to Amanda, Mark and his wife Stephanie, Eric, Lauren and kurt. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth  on Thursday, December 2 at 9:15 Am. Funeral Mass in Saint Jerome Church, 632 Bridge Street, North Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Burial is private.

    To the McNeil and Coughlin families,

    I offer my condolences on your loss. I went to school with Kellie, and although I did not know her well, she was always regarded as a wonderful person. May your grief be replaced by the knowledge that she now lives with the risen Christ.

    Sean & family, your Mom will always be one of my favorite people in my life. We had so many great times over the years at Macys. I was always thrilled to see my friend as I entered for my shift. I am blessed to have known her amazing heart. Kathy had a wonderful humor! We had so many laughs together!
    Kathy was such a proud Mama of her boys! Her charming spirit will live on in the two of you! I’m so grateful she’s safe and out of all of her pain. I will forever cherish my friendship with Kathy! May you Rest In Peace my beautiful friend! Love you always! 💕🙏🏻

    So sorry for your loss, prayers for you and your family to be comforted now and always. Kathaleen loved much. Whenn she was a young girl she smiled and had a greatful heart. Her devotion to hers boys and love for her husband,parents and sisters was obvious. Kathaleen will be missed. Looking back at her face book page of the 🦋 clock and love for family and friends.     I’m very sorry and saddened to hear of Kathy’s passing. She was a big part of our Penney family and was the organizer of our get togethers. Kathy was a beautiful, kind and caring person who was also a good friend and will certainly be missed. With a heavy heart, my sincere condolences to John, Sean and Bryan. She was very proud of her boys and family.

    I just learned of Kathleen’s passing. My deepest heartfelt condolences for your great loss.
    I have fond memories of Kathleen from growing up attending St Jerome Church and sitting next to her in church Choir.
    Kathleen always wore a smile and was such a kind woman.
    My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time and in the days ahead.
