Louis Richard Gagnon passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87 in the company of his family on November 4, 2024. Lou was born in Quincy and later made his home in Weymouth where he raised his family. A graduated of both Archbishop Williams High School and Northeastern University’s mechanical engineering program. Lou worked for The Newcan Company in Holbrook until his retirement. Loving husband of Miriam P. (Bassett) Gagnon. Devoted father of Richard, John and his wife Laura of Weymouth, Kenneth and his wife Kristin of Hanson and Michelle Parrish and her husband David of Norfolk, Virginia. Loving grandfather of Jessica, Michael, Erica, Katie, Jenny, Thomas, Samantha and Sarah. Funeral Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing on Thursday November 14 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
