
Weymouth- Luis E. Mallett, age 34, entered into eternal life suddenly on February 21, 2021. Luis has lived in Brockton and Weymouth for most of his life. Mr. Mallett was a chef in several area restaurants. He enjoyed cooking professionally and for his family and friends. Whenever he cooked a meal, Luis made it with his whole heart. Luis was a kid at heart and it showed with the way he was able to interact, challenge, and entertain all of the kids in his life. He was a great person that brought out the best in everyone. He challenged you to better yourself. His good friends became brothers and sisters to him. Luis had a special kindness towards people. He touched many lives, everyone he encountered felt his love and kindness and would be inspired by him. Most people he came across would tell you how much he made an impact in a positive way in their lives. He attended St. Joseph’s School in Holbrook where he played on the basketball team. He loved the sport of basketball and also enjoyed all sports. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Paula (Buccheri) Mallett. Devoted father of Nyzahlies and Luis Jr. His children were his world and the loves of his life. Beloved brother of Cynthia “Ali” Mallett of Weymouth and the late Marco Mallett. Loving and proud uncle to Eva, Nathan, and Nicholas. He leaves behind relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Thursday March 4 at 9:00 Am. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 7 until 10pm. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church East Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited Covid guidelines are strictly enforced. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, East Weymouth.

I haven’t seen Luis in a long time, but my biggest memory of him is at Cynthia’s house him on the ground playing with the then 4 kids. With the biggest smile on his face you could see he was a kid at heart like the above mentioned. Praying for the entire family with all my heart.
