Weymouth- Margaret B. “Peggy”  (Palmer) Paul age 93, entered into eternal life on May 5, 2018.  Peggy was born and raised in Dorchester, and lived in Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, and Rockland. She was beloved wife of the late Walter E. Paul. whom she met at school the age of 16 at St. Peter’s Parish where they both grew up. Devoted mother of Walter J. of Holbrook, Jeanne Stacy and her husband Greg of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Janice Paul and her husband Thomas Evans of Clarkdale, Arizona, Richard Paul and his wife Donna of Auburn, Maine, Margaret Anne Paul of Santa Cruz, California, Christopher Paul and his wife Cathie of Pembroke, Patrice Paul and her husband Rick Cobb of El Cerrito, Calif. and Elizabeth Jones and her husband Russell of Brockton. Beloved sister of the late Madeline Glavin, Elaine Richardson, John, Warren, Arthur, and Thomas Palmer. Loving grandmother to Benjamin, Kiye, Brett, Jonathan, Danielle, Amelia, Alex, Stephanie, Alyssa, Kenia, Megan, and Nathan. Great-grandmother of Sterling, Abigail, Sophia and Liam. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. A mother of eight, spirited and enthusiastic, Peggy enjoyed the music of Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mel Torme, and Tony Bennett. She liked to tell the story of when she and Walter, in their teens, saw Frank Sinatra in Boston. She loved the theater, was a vociferous reader, and at the age of 91 discovered her natural ability for painting. Among other jobs outside the home, she derived tremendous satisfaction from her volunteer position at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, where she greeted people as they came in. Peggy loved the Cape, and spent a number of summers at Popponesset Beach in Mashpee. She had many friends and family in the Boston and Cape Cod area by whom she was cherished and with whom she remained close. Her sense of humor and positive attitude toward life stayed with her until the very end. Despite recent health challenges, she continued to look toward the future with a smile. She will be deeply missed. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, and her six siblings. The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to Dr. Crofton under whose care Peggy was for 5 years, and the caretakers at the John Adams Healthcare Facility for their loving kindness and devotion these last five months. Phone: 781-272-9936.Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Thursday, May 10 from 2 -4pm. and 6-8pm.  Funeral from the funeral Home on Friday at 9:30 am. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 10:30 am. Burial service at Mass National Cemetery in Bourne at 2 pm.

    A dear and wonderful friend of 55 years. May you always look down on those you love and know that will look up and know your happy in the arms of Jesus. Happy forever.
