MaryMary F. (Nash) Woodford, age 91, entered eternal life on August 21, 2023. Mary grew up in Weymouth and lived in Holbrook before returning to Weymouth 52 years ago. A graduate of Boston State College, Mrs. Woodford was a school teacher for the Department of Defense at bases all around the world before she got married. Mary was a parishioner and choir member at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook, Immaculate Conception In Weymouth and Saint Albert the Great Church. Mary loved bowling and participated on the channel 5 satuday afternoon tv show. Her pastimes were playing poker and socializing at the Senior Center. Beloved wife of the late Daniel W. Woodford. Devoted mother of Matthew, of Weymouth, Mark and his wife Maria of Ponte Verde, Florida ,Luke and his wife Rebecca of Switzerland , Marjorie Harding of Weymouth, and Catherine Snaith and her husband Gregory of Quincy. Loving sister of the late John Nash. Mary also loved spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Monday August 28 from 8 AM until 9:15 Am. followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Albert the Great Church 1140 Washington St. Weymouth at 10 AM. All are welcome to the Common Market Restaurant in Quincy afterwards. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial on Tuesday August 29 in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 10 Am.
