Maryellen Gaidis, of Weymouth, age 79, entered into eternal life on June 16, 2023. Maryellen grew up in Dorchester and has lived in Braintree and Weymouth for many years. Ms. Gaidis worked for both the Reebok and Polaroid Companies. She enjoyed yard sales, reading books, detective tv shows and her cats. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Gaidis. Sister of Joseph Gaidis of Bryant Pond, Maine and Kathleen Laplaca of Portsmouth, R.I.. Aunt of Amanda, Amy and Nicole and their children. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home 100 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Friday June 23 at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St Albert the Great Church, 1140 Washington St. Weymouth at 10 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 3 until 6 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
