With a heavy heart, we announce the sudden passing of Michael L. Ferrara, who was 41 years old, a month shy of 42. Michael passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2022, following a car accident that happened at the end of December. Mike had always been a fighter, and did his best to fight this one last battle that he faced in the hospital, but unfortunately, there was just too much to overcome in the end. Michael grew up in Braintree, and was living in North Attleboro with his family. Devout husband to Jaclyn Ferrara (St. Croix) of North Attleboro. Devoted father to Isaac, Angelina and her fiancé, John, Michael “Tyler”, Sebastian and Phoenix. Beloved son of Augustino and Loraine Ferrara (Lindfors) of Braintree. Loving brother to Amanda Ferrara- Fialho, her husband Igor Fialho of West Bridgewater and Sarah Jefferson of Dedham. Son-in-Law of Ralph and Betty St. Croix (MacDonald) of East Bridgewater. Brother-in-law of James St. Croix of Weymouth, Patrick St. Croix and his fiance, Angie Fruzzetti, of East Bridgewater, and Neil St. Croix and his fiance, Rebecca Sibley, of Halifax. Michael was survived by his first newborn grandchild, nieces and nephews, as well as a large extended family. Mike worked as a Driver for many years, and loved being on the open road. One of his favorite things to do each morning to start his day off right, was to drive around town, with a cigarette and coffee, blasting his music. Music and art were always a big part of Mike’s life. Michael had a tough, unconventional life, but everything changed when he met his wife. Michael found that “once-in-a-lifetime” kind of love with Jackie, which inspired him to turn his life around. Those that knew Michael at the end of his life knew that he was happy, and excited to start the next chapter with his family on this journey. Even though Michael’s life ended too soon, his loved ones are grateful for the time they had with him. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, free spirit and great sense of humor. May all that are lost in the darkness be guided by Michael’s soul that will continue to shine as bright as the sun in the afterlife as it did here on Earth. In the words of Jim Morrison, who was one of the biggest influences in Mike’s life, “Death Makes Angels of us all.”
Due to COVID restrictions, funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home in Weymouth. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael’s memory to: The Home for Little Wanderers 10 Guest St. Boston, MA. 02135 or to his Go Fund me page https://gofund.me/4348076b

    Michael,
I want to thank you for loving unconditionally, and always encouraging me on our journey together. You changed my life for the better in so many different ways. Thank you for giving me four extraordinary stepchildren, and a beautiful daughter of my own. I don’t know if I’ll ever understand why they took you away from us so soon, but I’m trying to trust this process like you would want me to. You will always be my Soul One, my Twin Flame, my Divine Counterpart. The bond we have together can never be broken. This still doesn’t feel final, but I know you’ll help me make sense of all of this soon enough. I love you more than I’ve ever loved anyone in my entire life, and I will never stop. The kids and I are going to be okay, and I know you’re going to protect us always. Until we meet again my love…

    Love always,
    Soul One

There are too many memories to go round. We have been through so much together, you were an amazing father and you’ll always be in my heart.

With his towering height and array of tattoos, you’d see Mike and think “man I want this guy on my side if things go down!”. But to talk to him for a moment, would to be to realize that he was a badass – with a heart of gold. His face glowed with pride when talking about his wife & kids – they were the joy (and loves) of his life. That type of love doesn’t die – it lives on through those he loved. Deepest condolences to the Ferrara family during this difficult time. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
