Patricia Ann (DiMartino) Surette, age 94, entered into eternal life on February 18, 2025. Pat grew up in Stoneham and has lived in Braintree for 67 years. Beloved wife of the late James D. Surette, Devoted mother of Diane Grillo and her husband David of Bellingham James of Braintree, Patricia Smith of Taunton, Mary Bebo and her husband Mark of Hanson, and Paul of Braintree. Beloved sister of Joanne Deyo of Virginia Beach, VA, Margaret McKenna of Stoneham, and Paul DiMartino of Stoneham. Loving Nana to Jamie, Nicholas, Andrew, Lauren, Victor, Lynne, and the late Daniel. Great-grandmother to 9 great-grandchildren Mrs. Surette worked at the Hallmark Gift and Card Store in Braintree. A parishioner at the Sacred Heart Parish, she belonged to the Mothers Club, the Sodality, and the choir. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth Landing on Saturday February 22 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington St., Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Visiting hours on Friday are from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
When we hear people talk about an Angel on Earth, it is my Aunt Pat they are talking about; she was so kind with such a gentle and loving spirit; really represents the best of us, along with my ascended Uncle Jim. Love them both dearly; such found memories of cookouts at their home and missing those times of family gathering together. She now resides with the rest of our beautiful family and our Heavenly Father and King.
