Robert F. Carignan, age 62, entered into eternal life suddenly on April 5, 2025. Robert was a nurse’s assistant at South Shore Hospital prior to being injured years ago. Beloved son of Frances H. (Baker) Carignan of Hingham and the late Gerald Carignan. Brother of Gregory Carignan and his wife Debbie of London, OH and the late James Carignan. Visiting hours and prayer service at the Clancy Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington Street, Weymouth on Wednesday, April 9 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. Graveside service on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, 720 Washington Street, Weymouth at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
Every time I saw Bobby, we would call out “Hey cuz” and head in for a long bear hug. Bob was open hearted. We could laugh about anything. The last time I spoke with him was last week. He enthusiastically desribed the turkies and bunnies the patio. That’s my Cuz!
Bob, I love you, you became like a brother to me as I worked in the same room with you taking care of Larry. My heart is broken and honestly you were one of the nicest people, always helping everyone out. Thank you for your friendship my dear friend and I know you got a one way ticket straight to Heaven.
