Robert J Kenney – May 30, 2023

Robert  J. Kenney, age 84, entered into eternal life on May 30, 2023.   Bob  grew up in Wollaston and has lived in Braintree for 52 years. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast guard. Mr. Kenney was a security specialist for the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth. Prior to that he held multiple management positions with Boston Edison. Bob was a baseball coach for East Braintree Little League. He also served as a park ranger at Pond Meadow Park.   He played piano and keyboard for several bands in his youth. Beloved husband of Teresa (Fay). Devoted father of Daniel of Weymouth, Michael and his wife Natasha of Braintree and the late Robert J. Jr. Loving Papa to Erica, Racheal, Justin, Kassadee and Great-grandfather to Kylie, Harry, Hazel, Skie, and Scarlet. Beloved brother of the late William, Richard, and James Kenney. Funeral from the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth on Monday, June 5 at 9:30 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady  Queen of Peace Parish at Sacred Heart Church Weymouth at 10:30 am. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
