Braintree- Shirley A. (Allen) Westover, age 83, entered into eternal life on September 28, 2018. Beloved wife of Richard L. Westover of Braintree. Born and raised in Saranac, N.Y. and has lived in Braintree since 1960. Shirley worked for the Braintree Public Schools in Food Services. Shirley had a very generous and charitable nature to her family and friends. She loved music and enjoyed outdoor concerts. Beloved daughter of the late Leonard and Goldie Allen. Devoted mother of Richard Jr. and his wife Joan of Stoughton, Ronald of Walpole, Debra Westover of Braintree and Lisa Carney and her husband James of Quincy. Loving grandmother to Lauren, Ryan, Ashley, and Derek. Beloved sister to the late Earl, Robert, Carlton and Ross Allen. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Monday, October 1, at 10 a.m. Burial in Plain St. Cemetery to follow. Visiting hours on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m.
