William T. Jones

Abington- William T. Jones, age 79, entered into eternal life at his home in the presence of his loving and prayerful family on May 3, 2018. Bill was born and raised in Weymouth and moved to Abington in 1987.  He graduated from Weymouth Trade School and he received a teaching certificate from Fitchburg State College. Mr. Jones served in the U.S.  Marine  Corps.   Mr. Jones taught and worked as a printer for 20 years. He then worked for the City of Boston Water and Sewer Commission until retiring.  Bill was a past exalted Ruler of the Weymouth Lodge of Elks.  He coached Weymouth Pop Warner, assistant coach of Football at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree,  He loved animals,  his horse Prelude and especially his family.  Beloved  husband and best friend for 60 years Marylou F. (Zarnitz). Devoted father of Kathleen Killilea and husband Daniel of Abington, William T. Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Christine and her husband Scott of Abington, Susan McNally  of Abington, MaryKathryn Clark and her husband Andrew of Abington, Patrice Galiano  of Whitman, Michael Jones and his wife Erin of Hanover, Karen Reardon and her husband Daniel of Abington, Ann Kearns and her husband Daniel of Abington, and Beth McDonnell and her husband Paul of Abington.  Brother of Charles Jones and his wife Virginia  of Weymouth  and the late Helen Loiurio. Loving grandfather to 35 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours at the Clancy-Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St. Weymouth on Monday, May 7    From 3 until 8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing on Tuesday , May 8 at 10 am. Burial is private.   If desired, donations may be made in his memory to Michael J.
